You can discover the most charming walnut tree on the Danube bend, on whose thick branches rests a poetic gingerbread house, where you can fly high like a butterfly, and the leaves sway with your partner. Here, among the branches of the huge walnut trees, you can find peace, where you can hide in winter and summer, or wander around the impressive Danube bend to your heart’s content.
Wedding house in the tree – a little nook on Verőce, which is heated by the stove, but you make it hot and memorable, a place that will be good to remember for decades. The Danube brings fresh air, the forests of Börzsöny bring pure emotions. Try what it’s like together in the greenhouse, where two people will surely find each other and love each other.
Recreation in Verőce
A unique opportunity in the Danube Bend is that you can spend the night in a living tree. All this in a completely comfortable environment, in GREENHOUSES equipped with a kitchen, bathroom and heating, cooling and heating air conditioning.
We offer our accommodation in the attractive area of the capital, in a settlement that can be easily reached by train, in the green area of Verőce, where you can enjoy the view of a peaceful landscape of hilly green forests. The place is suitable for both romantic, family and active recreation.
We built our greenhouses on several large walnut trees, 3-3.5 meters high. The two greenhouses, Árnyas Dió and Nászház a Fán, were built on the trees in an area next to each other, but in a non-transparent manner. In the embrace of the foliage, even in the heat of the summer, you can enjoy the shade of the 25 m2 terrace. There is a wood-burning hot tub for 5 and 2 people in the yard in winter and summer, for which we provide firewood all year round, and it can be used at no extra charge.
Our greenhouses are considered green accommodation, they are mostly made of recycled materials, during the implementation we paid special attention to the use of natural materials and energy efficiency. That is why we ask our guests to pay attention to the reasonable use of water and electricity in accordance with this review.
We tend a small organic garden in the area, the produce of which we gladly offer our guests. Tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, potatoes and many herbs are grown here, which our guests can also use for baking and cooking, and for evening barbecues. In addition to landscaping, the planting of crops is important to us, we also planted grapes and many varieties of fruit trees.
Description of the area:
Verőce is a very charming village on the left bank of the Danube, at the foot of the Börzsöny mountain range, in the catchment area of Budapest.
The village has restaurants, buffets of various levels, you can choose from, a center of culture, a library and a museum in the center of the settlement. It has patisseries and two bakeries, we also have grocery stores, a butcher, a fruit and vegetable store, an organic store and a do-it-yourself farm store. However, the Danube bank is the most attractive: with beach, rowing and dining options, with free Wi-Fi. It also boasts a few playgrounds, two of which are located right on the Danube bank, so Verőce beach has become a favorite of families with small children in the area. If you want a calmer, quieter beach, you can do that by avoiding the more crowded stretches of beach, even on the grassy beach in Kismaros, where you can rent kayaks, canoes or SUPs.
The forest paths and sights of the area can be explored on foot along the blue hiking trail in Börzsöny, with the Királyrét Forest Mini-Railway and by bicycle. There is a built-in bicycle path on the Budapest-Vác-Szob route.
In fact, we heartily recommend the entire Danube Bend with its natural treasures and built heritage. On this side of the river, Vác, Verőce, Kismaros, Nagymaros, Zebegény offer so much beauty and programs.
We are happy to inform your guests about the possibilities, we recommend leaflets and websites.
Transportation
Verőce is 50 km from the capital, only 35 minutes from the Nyugati railway station, with the hourly train.
The greenhouse is 1,800 m from the center of the village, and due to the proximity of the railway, it can be easily reached on foot or by bicycle.
By car, the road leads through a freeway and a gravel dirt road. Parking is free and safe on the grounds of the greenhouse.
